About Me

Welcome to my studio! As a fourth-generation resident of Nevada City, I’ve found the history, forests, lakes, and streams of this area to be an unending source of beauty that inspires my painting.

From an early age, I had a passion for creating works of art in many forms, such as drawing, painting, and sculpture.

After completing my education in architecture, including many courses in drawing, painting, and art history, I channeled my creative desires into a long career as an architect, designing beautiful buildings throughout Northern California.

Now I’ve come full circle back to my original passion for painting.

Most of my paintings are done as acrylic paint on canvas, as I love the vibrant colors and subtle textures that can be achieved with this media.

My hope and desire is to express and share, through art, the beauty of Gods creative handiwork in the scenic landscapes that surround us in Northern California.
